"The place to go in the Chiemgau/Salzburg region, if you are looking for an authentic hotel in a historic surrounding, here: an old Cistercensian monastery founded in the 12th century. The rooms inside the old and thick walls are spacious and tastefully decorated. You sleep in comfortable bed inside a baroque style picture frame. The bathroom is fittingly decorated with black and golden glazed tiles. Arranging 2 neighbouring rooms for our family, we were helped immediately and friendly. We also booked dinner in the corresponding restaurant beforehand and we were very happy with the delicious and plentiful dishes. The service was very friendly, attentive, quick - and typical Bavarian. Back in this area, we definitively will come again."
